Slovakia · SKGeneral employment + seasonal
Third-country employment normally uses the single-permit / temporary-residence employment route. Seasonal work: up to 90 days by seasonal work permit; longer seasonal stay requires temporary residence. Current official maximum is 180 days in 12 consecutive months.
Case gate: employer/job evidence, contract or promise, accommodation, insurance and candidate-specific eligibility.

Hungary · HUSeasonal route; new guest-worker route closed
From 6 June 2026, new guest-worker residence-permit applications cannot be submitted under the current decree because no third-country nationality is presently eligible for a new permit under that route. Seasonal employment remains separate, up to 6 months, in the statutory seasonal fields.
Case gate: first check existing Hungarian/EU status or another current permit basis. Do not use the old guest-worker nationality list for new cases.

Bulgaria · BGEmployer route + seasonal
Seasonal work can be registered for up to 90 days; longer seasonal employment can run for more than 90 days up to 9 months. Current official seasonal sectors include agriculture/forestry/fishery and hotels/restaurants.
Case gate: confirm the real Bulgarian employer and the correct direct-employment or other lawful model before onboarding.

Croatia · HREmployer-specific + seasonal
Seasonal stay-and-work permits cover agriculture, forestry, hospitality and tourism. Current official limits are up to 90 days under the simplified seasonal path where applicable, or up to 6 months per year.

Serbia · RSSingle residence and work permit
Employment may support a combined temporary residence and work permit. The single-permit request is submitted electronically. A permit may be issued for up to 36 months depending on the legal basis and decision. The official portal currently lists a single-permit approval fee of 22,770 RSD.
Case gate: ordinary employment is not treated as a generic 90-day permit-free route; statutory short-work exceptions are assessed separately.

Czechia · CZEmployee Card / status-specific access
The Employee Card permits qualifying third-country nationals to stay and work for more than three months. Czech temporary-protection holders do not use the Employee Card under the same route. Current fees shown by the Interior Ministry are CZK 2,500 for an in-country application and CZK 5,000 consular fee from abroad.
Case gate: job-vacancy record where required, employment evidence, accommodation, criminal record and the candidate's actual labour-market access.

Germany · DEQualified employment + restricted seasonal
Third-country work visas are route- and qualification-specific; a signed employment contract is central and qualification recognition may be required. The national-visa fee is generally €75. The current seasonal programme is not universal: for third countries it presently covers Georgia and Moldova, max 90 days in 180 and normally at least 30 hours/week.
Case gate: do not advertise generic unqualified factory/warehouse access without a real legal route.

Slovenia · SISingle permit + seasonal agriculture
Third-country nationals generally use a single residence and work permit. The first permit may be issued for the contract period up to 2 years. Seasonal agriculture up to 90 days uses a work permit. Current official cost guidance lists €70 permit fee plus €15.47 card-printing cost.
Case gate: employer tax/compliance status and Employment Service consent where required. Separate bilateral rules exist for citizens of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Austria · ATSMG scope: private construction projects only
Private construction is an SMG commercial scope, not a special visa category. Direct Austrian employment may use a qualifying Red-White-Red Card route. For third-country postings, the applicable AMS/posting authorisation must be established. Construction and related trades require a work permit regardless of posting duration.
Case gate: documented private project, legal employer, direct-employment vs genuine posting vs labour-leasing classification, Austrian wage/working conditions and permit before mobilisation.
